Western Shiprepair, a member of the BLRT Group, is located in Klaipeda, Lithuania. A modern facility, Western Shiprepair is experienced in conversions, new construction, painting, blasting, steel renewal, engine overhaul and boiler repair. Western Shiprepair is certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and meets all requirements for PRS, RINA and IACS.
Western Shipyard was acknowledged for the building of the DP Falcon. The DP Falcon, took 1 ½ years to complete, was awarded a gold medal by the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists in 2008. Due to receiving an honorable award for the DP Falcon, Western Shipyard has signed on for another order for the M/V Sentinel.
Western Shiprepair has five floating docks with 4,500 to 27,000 ton lift capacity and quays fully equipped with electricity, oxygen, gas, connections for telephones, cranes, winches of 30 to 100 ton capacity and fresh water.
