Yiulian Dockyards Limited
Yiulian Dockyards Limited, founded in October 1989, is a subsidiary of China Merchants Group that engages in the ship-repair industry.
Presently, Yiulian operates 3 shipyards in Hong Kong, Shekou and Zhangzhou and owns 5 floating docks ranging from 30,000 dwt to 180,000 dwt.
With the development of the marine industry, as well as meeting the increased demand of ship repair, The China Merchants Group invested RMB 2.4 billion to move Shekou Yiulian to a new location on Mazhou Island in the Pearl River Delta. The capacity will be significantly increased.
